Pursuant to Paragraph 8.23(1)(iii) of the Main Market Listing Requirements of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad, the Company wishes to announce that it had provided financial assistance in the form of advances to its associate and subsidiary companies during the third quarter ended 30 September 2023 as follows:-

1. On 23 July 2023, an advance of USD 20,000 (equivalent to RM 93,800 based on the exchange rate of 4.69 as at 30 September 2023) was provided to AA Com Travel Philippines Inc.(“ACTPH”) by the Company, through its wholly-owned subsidiary, AirAsia Berhad (“AAB”);
2. On 11 July 2023, 26 July 2023 and 30 August 2023, a total of advances of USD 5,015,369 (equivalent to RM 23,522,081 based on the exchange rate of 4.69 as at 30 September 2023) was provided to ACTPH by the Company;
3. On 12 July 2023,13 July 2023,14 July 2023,15 July 2023,16 July 2023,17 July 2023 and 18 July 2023, a total advances of RM 1,785,000 was provided to AirAsia Ride Sdn Bhd (“RIDE”) by the Company, through its subsidiary, AirAsia Com Travel Sdn Bhd (“ACT”);
4. On 27 September 2023, an advance of RM 1,000 was provided to AirAsia Superapp Sdn Bhd (“SUPERAPP”) by the Company, through its subsidiary, ACT;
5. On 11 July 2023, 24 August 2023, 11 September 2023 and 25 September 2023, a total advances of RM 698,055 was provided to Ourfarm Asia Sdn Bhd (“OURFARM”) by the Company, through its subsidiary, ACT;
6. On 25 July 2023, 10 August 2023, 17 August 2023, 25 August 2023, 28 August 2023,01 September 2023, 22 September 2023 and 27 September 2023, a total advances of USD 316,289 (equivalent to RM 1,483,395 based on the exchange rate of 4.69 as at 30 September 2023) was provided to PT AirAsia Superapp Indonesia (“ACT ID”) by the Company, through its subsidiary, ACT;
7. On 29 September 2023, an advance of RM 40,000 was provided to Rokki Sdn Bhd (“ROKKI”) by the Company, through its subsidiary, ACT;
8. On 22 September 2023, an advance of USD 9,753 (equivalent to RM 45,742 based on the exchange rate of 4.69 as at 30 September 2023) was provided to PT Biglife Indonesia (“BLID”) by the Company, through its subsidiary, Biglife Sdn Bhd (“BLMY”);
9. On 24 July 2023, 21 September 2023 and 22 September 2023, a total of advances of USD 18,096 (equivalent to RM 84,870 based on the exchange rate of 4.69 as at 30 September 2023) was provided to Biglife (Thailand) Co Ltd (“BLTH”) by the Company, through its subsidiary, BLMY;

(Collectively, referred to as “the Financial Assistance”).

The Financial Assistance provided was in the ordinary course of business and to facilitate the running of the operations and financial affairs of ACTPH, RIDE, SUPERAPP, OURFARM, ACT ID, ROKKI, BLID and BLTH.

The Financial Assistance provided does not have any material effect on the earnings per share, net assets per share and gearing of the Company and its subsidiaries.
